The double-decker "Aurora-shuttles" on the St. Petersburg — Vyborg route have completed their first month of operation and will remain on schedule until October 15. During this time, they have transported over 18,000 passengers. According to the carrier, passenger traffic on this route increased by 8.7% in 2025.
Until mid-October, trains run according to the current schedule: from St. Petersburg — at 8:06 and 15:18, from Vyborg — at 12:56 and 17:14. The evening service has been temporarily suspended since September 21 — RZD is preparing a new schedule. After October 15, the schedule will be adjusted. The journey takes just over an hour, with an average train speed of 106 km/h.
Double-decker trains with two categories of seating are used on the line. In the improved layout carriages, there is a separate compartment with a monitor, air conditioning, and a bio-toilet, as well as spaces for passengers with reduced mobility. The fare starts from 353 rubles, and with "Road Cards" — from 120 rubles. It is more convenient to board in St. Petersburg through the small hall from Botkinskaya Street.
