Minsk Automobile Plant (OAO "MAZ") has delivered the first batch of modern low-floor electric MAZ 303T trolleybuses to St. Petersburg. By the end of 2026, Gorelektrotrans will receive 86 such vehicles. This was announced by the Vice-Governor of the northern capital, Kirill Polyakov.
This is an important step in the large-scale modernization of St. Petersburg's transport framework, which we are implementing as part of the 10 priorities for the city's development.
The official reminded that the trolleybuses can accommodate up to 90 passengers. The cabin is equipped with climate control and intelligent safety systems. Sensors are built into the driver's cabin to monitor the driver's condition.
MAZ 303T Specifications:

MAZ 303T trolleybuses are convenient for people with limited mobility. The Belarusian equipment has also been adapted for the Russian winter: the floor in the door area is heated to prevent icing. The door leaves are equipped with an anti-pinch system.
