The "Progress MS-35" cargo spacecraft completed its flight to the International Space Station. Docking with the "Poisk" module of the Russian segment was performed in manual mode, with the broadcast conducted by Roscosmos.
The spacecraft launched from Baikonur on September 16 aboard a Soyuz-2.1b rocket. It carried over 2.4 tons of cargo.
What the cargo ship brought
Most of the cargo consisted of consumables for the station: 842 kg of fuel for refueling, 420 kg of drinking water, and 50 kg of air to maintain the atmosphere. Another 525 kg was equipment and consumables for the crew's work.
For the scientific program, kits for the "Gas Analyzer-FS", "Biopolymer", "Virtual", "Vampire", "Hurricane", and "Separation" experiments were sent to the ISS.
A separate part of the cargo is an exoskeleton, an operator's workstation for remote control of the anthropomorphic robot "Teledroid". With its help, cosmonauts will control the robot when performing tasks outside the station.
The "Teledroid" itself will arrive on "Progress MS-36" in November. The experiment is divided into three stages: first, controlling a virtual model, then working with the robot inside the station, and finally, on the external surface of the ISS.
