Range up to 130 kilometers: antenna complex based on AN5200-5800Sh17 developed by Antelekon engineers

The equipment will provide stable video communication during drone maneuvers

Engineers of the "Antelekon" project have developed an antenna complex based on the AN5200-5800Sh17 series spiral broadband directional antenna. The equipment will help organize ultra-long-range communication. This was reported by the press service of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (TsBST).

In the near future, the development will be tested in the Donbas region. Prior to this, tests of the antenna complex were carried out at the training ground of the "Bars-Sarmat" special forces center, as well as in real combat operations, the TsBST added.

Military personnel highly appreciated the antenna for its ease of use, reliability, signal quality, and communication range.

AN5200-5800Sh17 series antennas are designed for use in ground control stations, electronic warfare (EW) systems, mobile command posts, repeaters, and radio bridges. They are also integrated into monitoring and video surveillance systems.

The "dish" itself, created by "Antelekon", significantly increases the communication distance. The estimated range is up to 130 km. At the same time, it has reduced radio visibility.

The antenna complex can increase the operating range of drones. The technical solutions implemented in this product ensure stable video communication during sharp drone maneuvers, the TsBST concluded.
