PAO "Tupolev" is trying to sell its stake in "KAPO Avia" amidst a conflict between shareholders and mutual bankruptcy claims. The company, once established on the basis of the transport detachment of the Kazan Aviation Plant, found itself at the center of a corporate dispute.
"KAPO Avia" itself filed a bankruptcy petition against former CEO Mikhail Bobrov with the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan. The enterprise demands to recover 3 million rubles from him; the application will be considered on October 15.
At the same time, AO "KAPO Service", which Bobrov has headed since March, announced its intention to seek the bankruptcy of "KAPO Avia". The amount of claims is 4.1 million rubles.
The court found that Bobrov sold himself a company car 7.5 times cheaper than its market value. In addition, his company leased equipment to "KAPO Avia" at an inflated price.
Bobrov also received 49% of the enterprise free of charge from the main shareholder Igor Osnovin. However, after the start of Osnovin's bankruptcy proceedings, the court ruled to return these shares to the bankruptcy estate.
Recently, "Tupolev" transferred internal documentation to digital format. Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained to "Pervy Tekhnichesky" why this is necessary to increase aircraft production.
