The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) presented its products at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt. The "Planshet-A" artillery fire control system (developed by VNII "Signal") in a portable version attracted great interest from visitors to the site. This was reported by the holding's press service.
"Planshet-A" is designed to automate firing from self-propelled and towed howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and mortars. The system is integrated with reconnaissance assets, including drones, and allows hitting a target using a minimal supply of ammunition.
The development of "High-Precision Systems" is supplied to the Russian Armed Forces. It is also used in counter-battery warfare.
Visitors to the exhibition were also interested in the "Prometey" software and hardware complex (SHC) for remote control of military and civilian equipment.
A whole line of equipment has been created based on the "Prometey" SHC:
- fire truck AC-3.2-40/4 on KAMAZ-43243 chassis
- robotic fire complex ANT 1000PM
- humanitarian demining vehicle MGR-4 "Shmel"
- rollers RV-7DD and RV-11DD
- asphalt paver "Desna 2100"
- autopilot "Meshchera"
The complex was developed by specialists of VNII "Signal". It was officially presented at the "Army-2023" forum in the Moscow region. Rostec stated that any machine can be robotized with the help of "Prometey".
