The mobile complex BM V-01, designed to combat drones, was first presented at the International Technology Congress-2026. This system is planned to be provided to Russian enterprises for rent at 25 million rubles per month to protect against drone swarms.
The development of the complex was carried out by AO "AIM" in cooperation with the "Ruselectronics" holding. Its main task is to ensure the protection of large industrial facilities, oil refineries, and warehouses.
BM V-01 combines radar detection, electronic suppression, and fire engagement of targets. The radar detects drones at a distance of up to 5 km, the tracking system can simultaneously work with 64 targets, and a 30-mm automatic cannon with 600 rounds of ammunition is used to destroy drones. The stated range of fire engagement is up to 4 km.
A separate element of the complex is a 30-mm projectile, which, after detonation, releases 310 metal balls towards the target. The vehicle also received a system for suppressing UAV control channels with a range of up to 500 m and an operating range of 100–6500 MHz, and the optoelectronic complex provides automatic target tracking and range measurement.
According to the developers, the final effectiveness of the system must be confirmed by field tests. If the stated probability of destruction of 99.9% is achieved, enterprises will be able to use BM V-01 as a means of protection against damage that drones can cause. Without weapons, the armored vehicle will be able to move on public roads.
