The large Kaliningrad manufacturer "Avtotor" will produce about 2.5 thousand electric vehicles by the end of 2026. This was stated by Valery Gorbunov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OOO "Avtotor Holding".
So far, we have produced 570 electric vehicles, but this year we will produce another 2 thousand. These are our plans. They are already in conveyor assembly.
The "Avtotor" press service announced the launch of a preferential purchase program for Eonyx brand electric vehicles for residents of Kaliningrad Oblast. In particular, Eonyx Profi Pickup and Eonyx Profy Cargo models are available to residents of the region with a benefit of up to 300 thousand rubles. Taking into account the manufacturer's discount and the subsidy under the state program, the Eonyx City M2 can be purchased for 400 thousand cheaper than the retail price.
The preferential program is supported by the government of Kaliningrad Oblast to develop electromobility in the region. Owners of electric vehicles have been exempted from transport tax and parking fees, said Valery Sherin, Deputy Governor of Kaliningrad Oblast. As of April 2026, there are 114 charging stations operating in the region.
At the end of January 2026, the first stage of an industrial cluster for the production of automotive components and electric vehicles began operating at the "Avtotor" plant. It produces electronic control systems, telematics complexes, internal combustion engine control units, traction inverters, and other units and components. These are also planned to be supplied to AvtoVAZ and the AGR holding.
