Lada Niva Legend with the new 1.8-liter engine has already started shipping to dealers, and preliminary prices for the SUV appeared before the official price list was published. The basic version may cost around 1.2 million rubles, while sellers will ask about 1.36 million rubles for the Urban Black. AvtoVAZ does not plan a separate official sales launch: dealers will be able to sell cars immediately after their arrival.
The AvtoVAZ press service previously announced the delivery of commercial vehicles to the dealer network. Serial production of the updated Niva Legend began on July 20, and the first cars are already heading to showrooms.
According to dealers, the target for the initial version is about 1.2 million rubles. The "Lux" trim is estimated at approximately 1.3 million rubles, Urban at 1.34 million, and Urban Black at 1.36 million rubles. However, the manufacturer has not yet officially announced the final prices, so these amounts may change.
For comparison, the pre-facelift Niva Legend cost from 1.099 million rubles. Therefore, the new engine and a set of modernizations effectively bring the cost of the basic version to approximately 1.2 million rubles.
Buyers choosing a more expensive version will be offered additional equipment. The "Lux" trim, in particular, is expected to include air conditioning, heated front seats, and alloy wheels. Urban and Urban Black will feature richer equipment and styling.
