Kachkanarsky Mining and Processing Plant (AO "EVRAZ KGOK", Sverdlovsk region) has automated the planning of maintenance and repair of its BELAZ quarry equipment fleet. This was reported by the press service of the large metallurgical and mining group "EVRAZ", which owns the GOK.
57 dump trucks are included in the single digital circuit. Data on operating hours and mileage of quarry equipment are fed into the information and analytical system, and from there — into the repair management system.
At the same time, the algorithm automatically determines the priority of service work. The condition of components and the operating schedule of equipment on the line are taken into account. The digital circuit also displays information about necessary spare parts.
Equipment maintenance is carried out in the quarry. A repair team and tools are delivered to the machine in advance. The digital planner helps avoid equipment downtime and disruptions in parts supply.
The management of Kachkanarsky GOK plans to switch to automatic predictive maintenance of the fleet in the future. The digital assistant will be integrated into the onboard monitoring system of dump trucks. Telematics sensors will transmit data on the machine's condition, and the system will notify of the need for repair.
