Alfa-Bank has announced the creation of an internal robotics laboratory that will focus on automating clients' business processes. The unit will operate in three directions: process diagnostics and roadmap development, searching for and verifying solutions from Chinese manufacturers, and selecting financing for specific projects.
As explained by the bank, Russian businesses are experiencing a shortage of clear expertise and proven technologies in the field of robotics. The new structure is designed to meet these needs on a single platform, combining technological solutions, financial products, and risk assessment.
The focus will be on companies from retail, logistics, industry, and the agro-industrial complex. A separate direction will be responsible for organizing technology tours to China and establishing equipment supply channels. The bank also plans to develop special financial products for robotics projects, including the use of state support.
