The Su-35S flew from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to their home airfield.
The Su-35S are designed to gain air superiority, destroy ground targets located at a significant distance from the fighters' base.
The Rostec press service quoted a Su-35S pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces. According to him, "the equipment works flawlessly". Russian pilots perform various tasks on these fighters, including intercepting targets, covering strike groups, destroying drones, and delivering high-precision weapon strikes. The Su-35S also help to uncover enemy positions, the pilot concluded.
The 4++ generation fighter surpasses most foreign aircraft in almost all characteristics. The Su-35S outperforms F-16AM/BM Block, Mirage 2000, F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II.
