The "STAR-BAS" unmanned aerial vehicle lifecycle management system has been included in the register of domestic software by the Ministry of Digital Development. The platform was created by the developer "Tsifroport" with the support of "RT-Proektnye Tekhnologii" (Rostec) and is designed to manage drone fleets – from small multicopters to heavy aircraft-type vehicles.
The implementation of the system reduces unplanned equipment downtime by 20–30%, increases fleet operational readiness to 95–98%, reduces spare parts costs by 15–25%, and accelerates reporting by five times, according to Rostec. According to Vasily Zuykov, CEO of "RT-Proektnye Tekhnologii", during pilot operation on a fleet of 50 drones, the platform reduced downtime by 60%, increased readiness to 98%, and paid for itself within a year.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade recognized UAV maintenance management as an import substitution priority. Today, 99% of operators keep records in Excel, while the drone market is growing by 25% annually.
