On August 25, an American military transport aircraft Boeing C-17A Globemaster III landed in Moscow. This is evidenced by data from the online air traffic monitoring system Flightradar.
The aircraft departed from Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, transiting through Riga, and landed in Moscow around 10:00 Moscow time.
The transport aircraft proceeded towards the state border with Russia. Before this, the liner also visited Charleston Airport. However, it is unknown whether Moscow will be the final destination of the Boeing C-17A Globemaster III flight.
The Kremlin does not have information about the US Air Force aircraft that landed in Vnukovo.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" compared the capabilities of the Boeing C-17A with the Russian Il-76MD-90A — "Ilyusha" won on a number of technical criteria.
