Drones lose GPS and GLONASS for 2 km: new Russian electronic warfare system "Pole-31" reaches the army

The NPO "Kilovatt" station is already being used to protect equipment, facilities, and personnel from drones

Russian military personnel have begun using the latest electronic warfare station called "Pole-31" to protect against reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicles. The complex was developed by NPO "Kilovatt".

"Pole-31" affects not the drone's control channel, but the satellite navigation signals that the UAV uses to determine coordinates and build a route. The declared suppression range is at least 2 km.

The station works with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo signals. For this, two frequency ranges are used – 1162–1300 and 1550–1630 MHz.

According to NPO "Kilovatt", "Pole-31" is installed on elevated terrain. In this configuration, the station can cover military infrastructure, transport, armored vehicles, personnel, industrial enterprises, fuel and energy complex facilities, and other important objects.

Previously, NPO "Kilovatt" had already disclosed the characteristics of "Pole-31", but now it has become known about its initial application by the Russian military. This is the first significant update of information about the complex after the publication of its technical parameters.
