Russian companies are being offered the opportunity to exchange some on-site inspections for continuous AI monitoring. If an enterprise can remotely transmit data on equipment operation, safety, and production deviations, inspectors will not have to visit it as planned.
The idea is already being discussed at the government level. Its goal is to reduce the burden on businesses and at the same time encourage companies to implement domestic AI solutions. A similar mechanism partially works now: data can be transmitted to supervisory authorities remotely, and an on-site visit is conducted only if there are signs of a violation.
AI will act as the first filter here: it will be able to constantly analyze indicators and quickly find suspicious deviations. However, it will not be possible to completely replace a human yet – the final assessment must still be given by a specialist.
The measure is under discussion and will not affect tax, customs, and currency control, as well as prosecutorial supervision.
