The Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) has announced the start of work on a new hybrid semi-trailer truck and is recruiting specialists for its development. The company is looking for design engineers and process engineers from among the holding's employees.
Design engineers will be involved in designing units and parts, developing electronic systems, and creating the cab and chassis. Process engineers will refine and optimize manufacturing technologies, select promising materials, and implement new production technologies.
Recall that MAZ already has experience in creating hybrid trucks. In 2025, the plant presented an improved hybrid truck tractor MAZ-X, which is equipped with a diesel engine of environmental class Euro-6 instead of the previously used Euro-5. This model received high praise at the "Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year in Russia 2025" competition. Now the company is taking the next step by developing a next-generation hybrid truck tractor.
