Its own data processing center (DPC) in Yakutia will become an important infrastructure base for the future film center, which will also be built in the republic. This was stated by Semyon Lytkin, Director for Technological Leadership of the Corporation for the Development of Yakutia.
The DPC is at the heart of the Far Eastern AI cluster being created in Yakutia.
Yakutia is already one of the leaders in creative industries, and the new AI cluster will meet the growing demand of business and government for computing power.
This will be the most advanced AI cluster in the Far East, he emphasized.
The resources of the new DPC will be used to generate complex graphics and render video (with the help of AI, which significantly reduces the cost of the process). Residents of the cluster will be provided with the corresponding service.
In May, it became known about the development of a concept for a multifunctional full-cycle film pavilion in Yakutsk. It includes a film company, a production center, and a production base.
The goal of the project is to enable regional filmmakers to create competitive films and bring them to domestic and international markets.
