The specialized marketplace for troop supply "Roy.Market" has no direct analogues, Andrey Bezrukov, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (TsBST), told TASS. At the same time, individual elements of a similar model have already been implemented abroad.
According to Bezrukov, the US operates the Defense Innovation Unit and Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace – they connect the needs of military customers with technology companies and create accelerated mechanisms for selecting and purchasing solutions. In NATO, the DIANA accelerator solves a similar problem, connecting developers, testing infrastructure, and end-users. TsBST is studying this experience primarily from the perspective of the speed of access of new technologies to the real customer, user feedback, and reducing barriers for small developers.
"Roy.Market" has already exited pilot mode and moved to scaling. Sellers now have access to a personal account for managing assortment, prices, and inventory, and logistics are built on a distributed 4PL model: goods can remain with the seller until the moment of order. TsBST unites more than 500 developers and manufacturers of unmanned systems, communication equipment, and robotics. The next stage is connecting new law enforcement agencies to the platform in addition to the Ministry of Defense, developing the B2B direction, and comprehensive solutions from the center's residents.
