The Ufa enterprise ODK-UMPO, involved in the program for creating the Russian PD-35 engine, has received another demand for debt repayment and a warning about a possible court application for bankruptcy. This notice was issued by the Moscow company Rubezh-Engineering, which stated ODK-UMPO's debt amounted to 8.7 million rubles.
Rubezh-Engineering intends to seek the bankruptcy of PAO ODK-Ufimskoye Motorostroitelnoye Proizvodstvennoye Obyedineniye if the debt is not repaid.
The basis for this is a court decision that has entered into force. In June, the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan issued a writ of execution for the recovery of 7.9 million rubles of principal debt under a supply contract, 122 thousand rubles in penalties, 180 thousand rubles in arbitration fees, and 2 thousand rubles in postal expenses from ODK-UMPO. In addition, penalties for delay continue to accrue.
The published notice means that the creditor has formally prepared the ground for applying to the arbitration court. However, such a message in itself does not yet mean the start of bankruptcy proceedings: this will require a corresponding application and court decision.
This is not the first warning of its kind. As previously reported by Pervy Tekhnichesky, in July 2026, ODK-UMPO received its fifth bankruptcy warning in six months. The warning came from the Moscow company Prokonsim due to a debt of 2.4 million rubles.
Before that, in June, the plant had already received two similar notices from other counterparties. The financial situation of the enterprise also raises concerns: net loss at the end of 2025 reached 14.3 billion rubles, whereas a year earlier the enterprise showed a profit of about 8 billion rubles.
