AvtoVAZ has added the "Lada Connect Start" system to all versions of Lada Vesta, without changing the price of the cars. With its help, you can track the car's location via smartphone, check if it's currently moving, and view information about recent trips.
The application also shows the battery charge level, the amount of fuel in the tank, and the estimated range. Separately, you can check if the doors and trunk are closed, as well as find out the engine temperature and if the engine is running.
The functionality is also linked to remote engine start, which is already provided in the basic equipment of Lada Vesta.
All features of "Lada Connect Start" will be available for free for the first three years after purchasing the car, the company said.
Similar systems are no longer a rarity in the Russian market. For Moskvich, telematics is also included in the equipment and does not require payment for the first three years. The car has the "M-Control" and "My Moskvich" applications, which allow tracking location, starting the engine, and checking door status, tire pressure, and fuel level.
