The all-wheel drive Jeland J6 crossover is priced at 2.899 million rubles. The new version of the Russian brand was prepared at the AGR holding plant in Shushary, where the J6 is produced using a full cycle.
Unlike the front-wheel drive version, the J6 AWD received a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp and a 7-speed robotic gearbox. The torque of the power unit is 275 N·m. The all-wheel drive works through a multi-plate electromagnetic clutch, which connects the rear axle when necessary.
The driver has access to six driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, and 4x4. This allows adapting the all-wheel drive system to different road conditions – from normal city driving to driving on snow and mud.
Initially, the Jeland J6 AWD will only be sold in the maximum "Prestige" trim. It includes a panoramic roof, front seat ventilation, heating for all seats and the steering wheel, multi-layer front windows, and ambient interior lighting.
The crossover also received a digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with an 8-core processor, an audio system with eight speakers, and a 540° surround view system with a "transparent chassis" function.
An extended winter package is provided for operation in cold climates. It includes heating for the front and rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles. The body is protected by galvanizing, anti-corrosion, and anti-gravel materials.
Production of the Jeland J6 AWD is organized at the AGR automobile plant in Shushary. It was there in April that the first test J6 of the new Russian brand, created in partnership between AGR and Defetoo, was assembled.
