The Arbitration Court of the Kaluga Region has accepted for consideration a lawsuit for over 46 million rubles against PAO "Kaluga Turbine Plant". The defendant in the case is one of the key Russian manufacturers of turbine equipment, whose installations are used, among other things, on ships of the domestic fleet.
The lawsuit was filed by AO "Far Eastern Plant "Zvezda"". The enterprise demands to recover 46.4 million rubles from KTz due to a dispute over the fulfillment of obligations under contracting agreements.
PAO "Kaluga Turbine Plant" specializes in the development and production of steam turbines, turbogenerators, and power equipment. The enterprise holds an important place in Russian mechanical engineering and participates in the creation of equipment for large energy and shipbuilding projects.
KTz-produced turbines are used on Project 955 "Borei" and modernized Project 955A "Borei-A" strategic nuclear missile submarines. In particular, equipment from the Kaluga enterprise is installed on the submarines "Yury Dolgoruky", "Alexander Nevsky", "Vladimir Monomakh", and "Knyaz Vladimir".
AO "DVZ "Zvezda"" is located in the city of Bolshoy Kamen, Primorsky Krai, and is engaged in the repair, maintenance, and modernization of ships. The court will now have to consider the claims of the Far Eastern enterprise and determine the validity of the stated amount.
