Domestic CNC machines MGFN-02 installed in schools of Tula region

Students write programs and get finished parts - just like in real production

MGFN-02 CNC machines, developed by Rosel holding, have been supplied to educational institutions in the Tula region. According to the company, more than 100 such machines have already been installed in schools and colleges in the region, covering approximately every fourth educational institution.

Russian engraving and milling machines are designed for practical processing of wood, plastic, composites, and non-ferrous metals. They help schoolchildren master 2D and 3D modeling, as well as the basics of programming for CNC machines. The equipment was created to replace foreign analogues and integrate into the educational process of schools, colleges, and technology parks.

The MGFN-02 connects to a household 220 V network and does not require additional engineering communications. The working area of the machine is 320×210×90 mm, spindle power is 350 W with a speed of up to 12,000 revolutions per minute. The equipment weighs 47 kg, and maximum power consumption does not exceed 550 W. Control is possible via Wi-Fi from a smartphone, from a PC, or autonomously from an SD card. The machine is equipped with an automated protective casing with a system of interlocks and light signaling – as the manufacturer claims, this ensures safety even when operated by beginners.

The machines do not require special room preparation and connect to a standard 220 V network. In classrooms, they are equipped with protective casings with sensors – the machine automatically stops when an attempt is made to access the working area. The equipment is designed for integration into the curricula of "Technology", "Informatics", "Physics", and "Labor" subjects.
