Interception in 3 seconds: "Pauk Duplet" manual net gun successfully tested against drones

The new product hits FPV drones with a 5.7 sq. m net at a distance of up to 25 meters

NPO "Polet" presented the serial manual net gun "Pauk Duplet" for neutralizing drones: it has already been tested at the training ground. The device – an upgraded version of the "Pauk-30BN" model – features a double-barreled design, allowing for two consecutive shots without reloading.

The net gun is designed for rapid combat against small and medium-sized UAVs by capturing and disabling them with mechanical nets. As the company explains, "Pauk Duplet" was developed as a portable means of individual protection for personnel, with an emphasis on ease of use and high readiness for deployment.

Technical characteristics of the device:

  • engagement range up to 25 meters,
  • projectile launch speed – 30 m/s,
  • net area – 5.7 sq. m.
  • Weight without projectile is 915 grams,
  • total weight – 1.59 kg.

The device is powered by an 18650 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh, charged via USB Type-C. The reloading time for interchangeable projectiles with a quick-release connection is from 3 seconds. The body is splash-proof (IP54) and remains operational at temperatures down to -30°C.
