Russian Shipbuilding Company (RSK, a resident of the Primorye ASEZ) designed and built the sea-going harbor tug "Grossman" of project RBT14S for the fishing company "Grossevichi". This was reported by the press service of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.
RSK General Director Igor Pronovich stated that the sea trials of the tug "Grossman" were successful. The vessel passed the survey of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Characteristics of the tug "Grossman":
- Power plant: 2 engines, total power — 352 kW
- Bollard pull — 4 tons
- Can move barges with a displacement of up to 300 tons in calm water
- Fuel consumption when two engines are running — 72 l/h
In the stern of the vessel there is a hydraulic winch and an attachment for a towing rope. A mooring windlass is installed in the bow.
RSK is capable of building up to 5 small vessels of the "Grossman" type per year. This production volume is aimed at providing Far Eastern fishing and transport enterprises.
Pronovich emphasized that shipbuilders are currently building up competencies in civil shipbuilding. The company plans to expand its range of tug models.
