Almost 150 Thousand Piles and 8 km of Cable: Hevel Began Construction of Two Solar Power Plants in EAO

The capacity of Semyonovskaya and Dezhnevskaya SPPs will be 580 MW

Hevel Group of Companies has started the construction of two solar power plants (SPPs) in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast (EAO). Workers have installed the first table with solar modules, the manufacturer's press service reported.

Construction work is in full swing at the construction site of the Semyonovskaya and Dezhnevskaya solar power plants in the Smidovichsky district of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast.

Workers are laying cable lines. A total of 7,800 km of cable will be laid. A field for 149,968 piles is being prepared for the installation of solar modules.

More than 900 thousand double-sided solar modules for this project were manufactured at Hevel's own plant in Novocheboksarsk. This is the first full-cycle photovoltaic module production enterprise in Russia. Panels from Chuvashia are transported to the Far East by 15 railway trains.

The capacity of Semyonovskaya and Dezhnevskaya SPPs will be 580 MW, and electricity generation is projected to be about 1 billion kWh per year.
