Yandex Market customers can now return orders through Pyaterochka stores. About 9 thousand retail outlets across Russia have joined the new system.
First and foremost, this will simplify life for residents of small settlements where there are no Yandex Market pickup points nearby. Now, an unsuitable item can be taken to the nearest grocery store if it participates in the program.
To return an item, you need to pack the order, submit an application in the Yandex Market app or on the website, and show the received QR code to the cashier. There will be no need to print documents separately or travel to another district.
The network of points has expanded particularly noticeably outside the largest cities. In Krasnoyarsk Krai, the number of return locations increased by 2.5 times, in Chelyabinsk Oblast – by 2.2 times, and in Kemerovo Oblast – by 2.8 times. This opportunity also appeared for the first time in six other regions, including the Altai Republic, Yugra, and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Yandex Market and X5 have been cooperating since 2019. Previously, Pyaterochka stores only allowed order pickups, but now they have also become return points.
