Russian engineer invents six-wheeled military ATV for ammunition delivery

The vehicle is capable of transporting shells and mines in complete off-road conditions

Russian engineer Sergey Stukalo has developed and patented a highly mobile transport vehicle for carrying artillery ammunition based on a six-wheeled ATV, according to Rospatent documents.

A container for storing and transporting ammunition is installed on the ATV platform behind the seat. It consists of 18 cases for shells and a box with six compartments for inserts. The entire structure is rigidly fixed to the chassis, ensuring secure fixation of each ammunition unit when moving over rough terrain.

Double-sided container lids allow for quick ammunition delivery without losing time on reloading. The development is designed for urgent delivery of a wide range of artillery ammunition in small volumes in difficult terrain and off-road conditions. The design can be adapted for various types of ammunition by replacing the inserts.
