The new version of the Russian robotic platform "Omich 3.0" reached a speed of 60 km/h during tests at the proving ground. This indicator became one of the main results of checking the running capabilities of the machine, designed for transporting goods and performing various tasks without crew participation.
The complex was tested by specialists from the "Kulibin-club" project of the Narodny Front, which is engaged in searching, testing, and supporting promising domestic developments in the field of robotics and unmanned systems.
For a ground tracked platform, a speed of 60 km/h is considered a high indicator, especially given that the robot is capable of moving with a full load. The manufacturer focused not only on dynamics but also on the versatility of the complex.
"Omich 3.0" can carry more than 500 kg of payload on its own platform, and with a trailer, it can transport over one ton of additional weight. The robotic machine is also designed for towing cars and other equipment stuck on difficult terrain.
Previous versions of the "Omich" family have already demonstrated the capabilities of multifunctional ground robots. Platforms of this type were created for cargo delivery, evacuation tasks, equipment transportation, and supporting units in hard-to-reach areas.
