A new special economic zone, "Khakass Technological Valley," will appear in Khakassia. The decree on its creation was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The new site will operate in Sayanogorsk and Beysky Municipal District.
The first residents of the zone will be five companies that will be engaged in aluminum processing, foil production, and ball bearings manufacturing. In 2026–2028, the volume of investments from these enterprises should exceed 17.4 billion rubles. The region will allocate about 5 billion rubles for the creation of the SEZ infrastructure.
By the end of 2035, the total investment volume of potential residents of the "Khakass Technological Valley" should exceed 25 billion rubles. It is expected that by this time, about 900 jobs will be created in the special economic zone.
In addition, Mikhail Mishustin expanded the territory of the "Zelenaya Dolina" special economic zone in Tatarstan. Eight resident companies will operate on a plot of more than 374 hectares in the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District.
Enterprises in Tatarstan will be engaged in the production of vitamins and feed additives for animals, microbial protein, chemical raw materials for polyethylene terephthalate, caustic soda, synthetic hydrochloric acid, and aluminum chloride. By 2035, new residents of "Zelenaya Dolina" are expected to invest almost 300 billion rubles and create more than 1.8 thousand jobs.
At a meeting on July 20, Mikhail Mishustin instructed Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak to monitor the effectiveness of special economic zones, the government press service reported.
