Traffic scheme changed in Moscow's Tekstilshchiki: what will change for drivers

A new traffic scheme has been launched in Moscow's Tekstilshchiki district. The changes are expected to improve connectivity between the district's streets and help reduce evening traffic jams. The Moscow Department of Transport announced the start of the first phase of changes.

As part of the new scheme, a new regulated U-turn has appeared on Lyublinskaya Street, south of the tunnel under Volgogradsky Prospekt.

A new exit from the industrial zone to Lyublinskaya Street towards the region has also opened. In addition, an extra lane has been added at the intersection of Lyublinskaya and Stavropolskaya streets, also towards the region.

In the second phase of changes, Ostapovsky Proezd will become fully two-way. This will make traffic between the Third Ring Road and Lyublinskaya Street more even, improve conditions for buses and electric buses, and reduce travel time for motorists.

The Department of Transport asked drivers to take into account the new conditions when planning routes, observe road signs, and be attentive in the changed areas.
