The new Russian operational-tactical complex "Iskander-1000" may be inaccessible for interception by most modern anti-aircraft systems. This was reported by analysts of "Voennaya Khronika".
Experts cited the Western anti-aircraft missile FP-7.x as an example, which is being created specifically to combat high-speed ballistic targets.
FP-7.x will have to meet modern Russian 9M723-2 "Iskander-1000" missiles, capable of performing anti-aircraft maneuvers with overloads of 20 units or more.
It should be noted that the characteristic of 20 units has not yet been mentioned in open sources. However, it is known that the 9M723-2 missile is equipped with aerodynamic rudders and tail blocks for gas-dynamic control for maneuvering.
Military expert Evgeny Damantsev explained that the 9M723-2 is capable of carrying high-explosive fragmentation or cluster warheads weighing up to 300–350 kg. In the West, it was noted that the circular error probable of the missile does not exceed five meters.
