The state-owned company Rosagroleasing has created the first digital showcase for civilian ships. The platform has gathered information about projects and the shipyards that implement them.
The catalog allows you to select a vessel on one platform and immediately get information about the shipyard, financing parameters, and cost calculation procedure. It presents projects for fishing, cargo, passenger, technical, and auxiliary vessels.
Pavel Kosov, CEO of Rosagroleasing, stated that the company cooperates with domestic design bureaus and shipyards. The digital showcase combines customer needs with shipbuilding capabilities and financial instruments, he emphasized.
With the help of leasing, shipping companies can renew their fleet without a one-time withdrawal of large funds from circulation. The current market demand is about 100 vessels with a total value of 193 billion rubles, Kosov added.
In total, the digital showcase features information on 45 civilian vessel projects, including self-propelled and non-self-propelled barges, scows, tugs, bilge water collection vessels, icebreakers, boom-laying vessels, dredgers, and fishing vessels. The platform also presents projects for electric passenger vessels.
