EVM Pro Discontinued: Russian Electric Truck with 300 km Range Put on Hold

The company decided to allocate resources to other projects but did not rule out the model's return on the UAZ "Profi" chassis.

The Russian company EVM has suspended the production of the EVM Pro electric truck. The decision is due to limited resources, and the manufacturer has now decided to focus on other areas of development.

Ilya Rashkin, founder and CEO of EVM, stated that the project is not definitively closed. According to him, the company is considering restarting production, but at this stage, other tasks have become priorities.

The EVM Pro electric truck was first introduced in 2022. The vehicle was built on the UAZ "Profi" chassis and was developed as an eco-friendly commercial transport option for urban deliveries.

The vehicle, with a gross weight of 3.5 tons, is equipped with an electric powertrain and can travel up to 300 km on a single charge. The model's payload reaches 1 ton. For winter operation, a battery heating system is provided, allowing it to maintain performance at low temperatures.
