The Tenet T8 crossover has expanded its set of functions. The "Hello, Tenet" voice assistant is now available not only for the five-seater, but also for the seven-seater version of the model. The update will be available to both new car buyers and owners of vehicles that have already been purchased.
The software installation is carried out free of charge. This is done by official dealers during scheduled maintenance, the company stated.
The voice assistant allows you to control a number of car functions without using the touchscreen. With its help, you can change climate control settings, turn on seat heating, open and close windows and the panoramic sunroof, and also adjust the multimedia system.
The system recognizes commands from four zones of the cabin. The assistant can be activated by a button on the steering wheel or by the voice command "Hello, Tenet".
An additional theme for the digital instrument panel has also become available. It is made in a classic style – with round speedometer and tachometer dials.
The full-cycle production of Tenet T8 is organized at the AGR holding's plant in Kaluga.
Voice control in cars has become a prominent trend in the Russian market. For example, the LADA EnjoY Pro multimedia system uses "Yandex Auto" with the "Alisa" assistant, which can execute voice commands, answer questions, and help the driver stay focused on the road. In "Yandex Auto" itself, voice control is also used for building routes and managing music.
