The Yegorshinsky Radio Plant from the Sverdlovsk region, which has been producing communication equipment and special equipment for almost a century, is once again on the verge of bankruptcy. The Arbitration Court has introduced a supervision procedure at the enterprise until October 2026.
The reason was a debt to energy companies amounting to 19 million rubles. However, the plant's financial problems began much earlier and were related to the execution of the state defense order.
In 2022, the enterprise received a contract for almost 387 million rubles for the development and manufacture of a backup power supply system. The customer transferred an advance payment of 193.6 million rubles, but the work could not be completed by the deadline in autumn 2024.
The regional FSS department conducted an inspection, as a result of which the antimonopoly service revealed violations in the use of state defense order funds. The enterprise was ordered to return more than 114 million rubles of the advance payment and was also fined.
At the same time, the customer – the Scientific and Production Association of Long-Range Radar – demanded the return of the entire advance payment and the recovery of an additional 133 million rubles in penalties.
The Yegorshinsky Radio Plant was founded in 1931 and specializes in the production of professional radio communication equipment, mobile antenna systems, and diesel and gas piston power plants.
