"Solar" together with the executives of Secure-T created the company SEG-T to develop its own corporate email protection gateway. The subsidiary of "Rostelecom" received 49% of the project, but did not disclose the amount of investment.
Incoming messages will be checked by a multi-agent AI. It will assess the tone, signs of manipulation, and psychological tricks the sender uses to gain trust, scare the recipient, or force them to act urgently. The gateway should also block malicious emails and messages from undesirable jurisdictions.
The product is planned to be sold separately, and later offered to users of Solar SEG, which currently operates based on Kaspersky Lab's solution. Bi.ZONE and other Russian companies are already developing their own email gateways, but no one can completely block phishing yet.
According to market participants, creating a competitive system will take about two years and require from 100 to 200 million rubles. The use of advanced AI can increase costs even further.
