Another way to check where gasoline and diesel are available has appeared in Russia. Alfa-Bank has launched a service in its mobile application to search for the nearest gas stations with available fuel.
According to the company, the platform is available to all users, regardless of whether they are its clients or not. Currently, the service shows information for more than 21 thousand gas stations across Russia.
With the help of the application, you can find the nearest gas stations that have the required fuel, as well as select stations by types and brands of gasoline or diesel.
Data for the service comes from fiscal data operators (OFD), POS terminals at gas stations, and other sources. After that, the information is processed using artificial intelligence technologies.
In the near future, the search for gas stations with fuel availability will appear in the "Alfa-Zapravki" service. There, users will be able to check the availability of fuel at a specific station and pay for refueling.
Alfa-Bank plans to add artificial intelligence-based functions for building routes to suitable gas stations.
Earlier, on July 8, Yandex launched an interactive map with information on fuel availability and queues at gas stations. Initially, it only worked for taxi drivers in the "Yandex Pro" application.
T-Bank also launched a service with updated fuel information. Its map is tailored for more than 20 thousand gas stations across Russia where gasoline purchases have recently taken place.
Sber also has a tool for finding gas stations with fuel. It covers about 23 thousand gas stations and uses anonymized payment data from more than 100 million bank clients.
