Fuel is now visible on the map: 2GIS will show fuel and queues at 29,000 gas stations

The service will suggest prices, refueling limits, and the possibility of arriving with a canister

2GIS has launched a map that shows fuel availability at more than 29,000 gas stations across Russia. The service is available in the app and web version — drivers will be able to understand in advance where to go and where the fuel has already run out.

For each gas station, available fuel types, prices, queue size, and current restrictions are shown. For example, you can find out if there is a refueling limit and if it is allowed to pour fuel into a canister.

The data is collected based on anonymized information about Sber's transactions and user reports. In the station card, you can clarify the availability of the desired fuel brand or warn other drivers about a long queue.

Similar maps have already been launched by Yandex, T-Bank, Sber, and Alfa-Bank. The services appeared against the backdrop of fuel shortages: according to RBC's estimates, various restrictions on gasoline sales affected about 80 regions of Russia.
