The Rosel holding (part of Rostec) has received domestic equipment status for its GRESS-2 capacitor blasting device. The device is included in the Unified Register of Russian Radioelectronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The device is designed for industrial blasting operations in the mining industry, construction, and for special tasks requiring guaranteed charge detonation. GRESS-2 generates a stable voltage on the line up to 95 V. When the button is activated, the electrical energy accumulated in the capacitor is transferred to the terminals, ensuring synchronous detonation of a network of 60 series or 7 parallel electric detonators.
The device remains operational at temperatures from -40 to +60 °C, is equipped with a reinforced casing, and is designed for operation in extreme conditions. As noted by Rosel, inclusion in the register confirms GRESS-2's compliance with the requirements for domestic radioelectronic products and allows the enterprise to participate in state and corporate procurement under the national regime. For miners and builders, the appearance of a serial Russian device reduces dependence on imports and provides access to guaranteed service maintenance.
The device developer is the Bashkir Production Association "Progress", a contract manufacturer of special and civil electronics, part of the Rosel holding.
