Rostelecom and the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed an agreement on the robotization and digitalization of industry in the Sverdlovsk region. The agreement covers more than 900 member organizations of the chamber.
The key direction is the connection of automated process control systems at Sverdlovsk production facilities. Rostelecom refers to such systems as the "brain" of an industrial object.
In parallel, enterprises will implement video analytics services with smart cameras that record abnormal situations in real time and transmit data to responsible services. A separate block is joint cybersecurity training, data exchange on virtual threats, and the formation of industry protection standards.
The first specific project is being launched here, on the sidelines of "Innoprom-2026". Rostelecom signed an agreement with the "Ural Automotive Textile Products Plant" on comprehensive digital transformation. The enterprise will modernize press stands, equip workshops with a process control system, implement video analytics, and occupational safety solutions. As the parties emphasized, the project will become a benchmark example of the digitalization of large industrial production using domestic technologies.
