“Spetsialny Technologichesky Tsentr” (STC, St. Petersburg), which produces Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones, is fully fulfilling the state defense order. This was announced by a representative of the center on the sidelines of the International Exhibition “Drone Expo-2026”, held in Kazan.

In April 2026, STC announced the expansion of its production capacities. The enterprise supplies Orlan-series drones not only to the Russian Armed Forces but also to foreign customers.
The main advantage of Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones is their ability to stay airborne for up to 10 hours. Russian servicemen often use them in pairs, where the first drone searches for a target, and the second illuminates it with a laser for subsequent destruction.
STC is also developing new types of drones. In particular, this refers to UAVs with reduced radar visibility. This will be a small-sized unmanned aerial system in a different form factor.
