AO "Yuzhnoye DSU" in Altai Krai invested 105 million rubles in creating its own motorcade "Yuzhanka" by purchasing 10 MAZ-6501 dump trucks with MAZ-8561 trailers. The equipment will transport inert materials from quarries and crushing and sorting plants, completely replacing leased transport.
General Director of the enterprise Sergey Razumov explained the logic: hired equipment often delayed deadlines and did not provide the required quality of delivery. Now the motorcade will operate autonomously, more mobile and more economically, bringing additional income. All vehicles are equipped with sleeping berths and air conditioners, designed for long shifts and low fuel consumption. In addition to dump trucks, the column included two semi-trailer trucks acquired by the enterprise in January.
"Yuzhnoye DSU" maintains roads in ten districts of the region and is consistently switching to Belarusian equipment. The first batch of ten MAZ trucks for KDM has already been purchased for road maintenance, and nine mowers for "Belarus" tractors have been additionally acquired. The creation of the motorcade eliminates dependence on private carriers and accelerates the pace of road works in the foothill zone.
