The AGR holding has started accepting orders for the new Esteo V27 hybrid SUV, priced at 5.75 million rubles. The model will be produced at one of the company's Russian plants, and the first cars will go on sale at official dealerships in August-September.
The Esteo V27 will be the first model in the new V-series of the premium Esteo brand. The car is built as a series hybrid REEV: two electric motors with a total output of 456 horsepower and 505 Nm of torque are responsible for propulsion, while a 1.5-liter turbo engine is used exclusively to generate electricity and does not directly drive the wheels.
According to the manufacturer, the total range exceeds 800 kilometers. The intelligent i-AWD all-wheel drive system allows the SUV to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The thermal efficiency of the gasoline engine reaches 45.79%, and the efficiency of the generator set is 3.71 kWh per liter of fuel.
The developers claim that the model has been adapted to Russian climatic conditions. The traction battery thermal management system maintains its operating temperature even in severe frosts, preserving the power unit's characteristics and the car's dynamics.
The Esteo V27 belongs to the full-size SUV segment. Its length is 5045 mm, width is 1976 mm, height is 1894 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2900 mm. More than 76% of the body structure is made of high-strength steel, and torsional rigidity is stated at 32,000 Nm/°.
The ground clearance is 220 mm. The manufacturer states that the SUV can overcome climbs with a gradient of up to 60%, and its off-road capabilities are confirmed by CATARC certification in China.
The model's equipment includes a panoramic roof with a "starry sky" effect, ventilated and heated seats, a cabin aromatization system, a two-level glove compartment, and a multimedia complex based on the Snapdragon 8155 processor with the Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine.
According to dealers, the cost of the car under various purchase programs can range from 4.9 to 5.6 million rubles. The main competitors of the new product are Jetour T2, GAC S7, Deepal G318, and Haval H9. The dealership network also believes that the Esteo V27 can capture about 20% of the brand's sales due to the growing demand for hybrid SUVs and the combination of characteristics with a competitive price.
