15 tons of cargo and a boom almost 20 meters long: Chelny plant "Phoenix" presented a new KAMAZ with XCMG crane

The new crane-manipulator unit is designed for construction, installation and industrial tasks

The Chelny special equipment plant "Phoenix" has launched a new vehicle with an XCMG crane-manipulator unit based on KAMAZ. The machine has a lifting capacity of 15 tons, a boom length of 19.1 meters and is designed for heavy loading and installation work.

The new model is built on the KAMAZ-65657 chassis with a 6x4 wheel arrangement. Thanks to the XCMG SQS350-5 installation, the vehicle combines the functions of a flatbed platform and a truck crane, allowing it to transport equipment and independently perform its loading and unloading without the involvement of additional machinery.

A key feature of the special vehicle is the high crane load moment – 36 tm. With a maximum boom outreach of 19.1 meters, the unit can lift up to 0.9 tons of cargo. The maximum lifting capacity in the working area is 15 tons.

The vehicle's cargo platform has a length of 7.2 meters and a width of 2.47 meters, which allows for the transportation of large-sized materials, building structures and industrial equipment. The permissible weight of transported cargo reaches 9.2 tons.

The dimensions of the machine are 11.56 meters in length, 2.55 meters in width and 3.75 meters in height. The curb weight of the special vehicle is 17.99 tons, and the gross weight reaches 27.265 tons. As part of a road train, the equipment can operate with a gross weight of up to 44 tons.

The new vehicle is aimed at construction companies, road services, energy companies and organizations that require versatile equipment for transporting and installing cargo. The use of KAMAZ-65657 as a base provides the machine with a high safety margin and the ability to operate in various road conditions.
