400 km/h Train and New Giant Diesel Engine 12DM-185: STM Showcased Future Technology at "INNOPROM - 2026" Exhibition

Developments focused on high speeds, intensive loads, and maximum production localization

At the "INNOPROM – 2026" industrial exhibition, Sinara – Transport Machines company presented two key engineering projects, reinforcing the course towards high-tech import substitution and the development of transport machine building in Russia.

The central exhibit was a large-scale model of the first Russian new-generation high-speed train, presented in an updated serial livery. The project is being implemented at the Ural Locomotives enterprise and aims to achieve speeds of up to 400 km/h. The design uses an extruded aluminum profile, which reduces the train's weight and improves aerodynamic efficiency, while the domestic traction drive forms a fully localized power architecture for the train.

The second exhibit was the 12DM-185 diesel engine, developed by the Ural Diesel Engine Plant as a fully import-substituted solution for heavy machinery. It is designed for quarry dump trucks and marine installations, including use on BelAZ machines. The engine's design is engineered for operation under extreme loads, where resource, traction, and operational stability are critical.
