The first Russian high-speed train in serial livery was presented at the "Innoprom-2026" exhibition in Yekaterinburg. The train was shown at the Sinara Group stand. The exposition was inspected by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The train will transport passengers on new specialized lines.
The first two prototypes will go for testing in 2027. Further, large-scale production is planned — up to 43 high-speed trains are to be delivered in Russia by 2030.
Technical features of the train
The design uses an extruded aluminum profile, which reduces the weight of the train and improves its performance at high speeds.
The main power unit is a domestic traction drive with a capacity of 10 MW, which provides acceleration up to 400 km/h when moving on specially prepared infrastructure.
The train will be dual-system. It will be able to operate on sections with different types of electrification — both DC and AC.
