Comfort in the cabin and 1.5 kilometers of autonomous range: the updated 71-923 "Bogatyr" tram will be tested in Yekaterinburg

The rolling stock is produced at the Nevsky Electric Transport Plant

The modified two-section tram 71-923 "Bogatyr" will be launched on the Yekaterinburg — Verkhnyaya Pyshma line for testing on July 13. This was announced by Andrey Yukhnenko, General Director of "PK Transportnye Sistemy", on the sidelines of the "Innoprom-2026" forum.

We have revised the interior of the car, removed seats in the central part, while increasing the accumulation areas so that people can feel comfortable in the first and second sections during peak hours.

What else has changed in the 71-923 "Bogatyr" tram:

  • Multimedia screens are placed along the car
  • Route indicators are placed on both sides of the car
  • An air conditioner has been added in the second section of the car
  • Equipment for autonomous mode has been implemented
  • A place on the roof has been prepared for battery installation

The 71-923 "Bogatyr" model has been produced at the Nevsky Electric Transport Plant (part of "PK Transportnye Sistemy") since 2017. The tram operates in St. Petersburg, Saratov, Cherepovets, and Ulan-Ude.

The main feature of the 71-923 "Bogatyr" is a low-floor swivel elastic bogie. Separate climate control for the cabin and driver's cab is provided. The autonomous range is 1.5 km.
