The company "STEK" received a patent for a folding cargo platform that allows transporting both ordinary cargo and the wounded. The invention relates to the automotive industry and is intended for installation in the rear of the vehicle.
The platform includes a frame attached to the rear of the vehicle and a harness for front attachment. The main element is a grate that can rotate from a horizontal to a vertical position. In the horizontal position, the grate is fixed by a special stand attached to the lower part of the frame. For the vertical position, there is an extension from the end of the grate, which is fixed in the fastening means.
The main feature of the design is the ability to place medical stretchers between the frame extension and the harness. This allows the platform to be used for evacuating the wounded, while in the folded state it does not interfere with the transportation of ordinary cargo. The invention can be used in military, rescue, and medical vehicles.
